Car Alarms: Dodge factory alarm, dodge grand caravan, grand caravan

Question
I have a 98 dodge grand caravan.  I had the BCM replaced and everything was running fine untill I unlocked my passenger door with my key.  (I do not have a keyless entry for this car.)  When I did this I a antitheft alarm went off.  I didn't even know I had one of these.   The big problem is I am on the road on my way to florida in two days.  Is there a way to disarm the system?  Even a temp fix so that I can drive that vechile will work till I can get it back to my machanic.  The car will only start then stall and sets off the alarm nomatter haw we try to lock, close or unlock the car. Please HELP!!!

Answer
Please try to put the key in the drivers door,
turn to the left first, the to the right to try to
reset it.

If no joy, then the trouble is not something that has
a quick fix because the factory or OEM alarm
arms when the door is locked, and disarms when
unlocked. If the folks who replaced the BCM did not
check this, then no way can you simply fix it.

I hope this works or it'r rental car time until
they can get the technician on it.
