Car Alarms: remote starter, dodge dakota, remote starter

Question
I am going to install a Commando EZ-2500 remote starter on my 2002 dodge dakota and am confused on a few items. How are the factory keyless door locks wired to the remote starter. I was sold a relay kit, do I need it? Also does this vehicle have an ignition 3 wire? I wiring diagram I found online stes it is Red/White and needs  an additional relay and another wiring diagram states it has none? I'd like to know what I am doing and what I'll need before starting the install. thanks for any help you can provide.

Answer
John, this is a fairly complex truck to work on.
From the single wire negative trigger resisted
locks to the 3rd ignition that is there and does need another relay to work,
to the vehicle that have the gray
"smart key" immobilizors that require
a transmod bypass, not an easy car for a tech,
much less a part time, backyard installer.

I would get some support from Ryan or Bill at
Commando to make sure you have all that's needed
including some explainations for the questions
you will undoubtedly run accross here.

Do that Monday after 10am though. Closed
on the weekends.

Have a good evening.
