Car Alarms: disconnect a car alarm in a 1999 cavalier, clifford car alarm, cavalier z24

Question
i have a 1999 chev cavalier Z24 and i cant start the car because the alarm is on and i like to disconnect the alarm completely i like to know what to do it a clifford car alarm

Answer
OK, Clifford systems (depending on the model) actually wired the starter kill and sometimes ignition kill in a normally open status.

To remove the Clifford is not as easy as other systems.  Pull down the dash under the steering column, this is where the connections were probably made.  Disconnect the wires that were tapped into the factory ignition harness, and reconnect any of the wires that were cut to go to the Clifford brain.  I would also recommend pulling the brain out of the vehicle as well to ensure nothing feeds back into other circuits.
