Questionpulled spark plug turned engine over got lots of spark, looked in carb. pumped throttle saw gas go in. gas on spark plugs, purchased at auction not running. bike turns over has new battery.

2000 buell M2 cyclone won't start? I have spark,battery,gas,and compression, Also i changed the plugs. the bike has 4000 miles on it.
was in a minor accedint only the aircleaner and front brake lever was damaged. but the bike had no oil in the oil bag like maybe it fell over and leaked out. do you know if they have timing problems? i brought it up to top dead center and saw no marks through the hole. purchased bike not running. thanks jeoff

A couple of questions. What are you using to determine that you have spark and fuel going into the motor? Are you saying that the bike has not run since you purchaced it? When you push the starter button, does the bike turn over?

AnswerFirst, unless you or the previous owner changed the timing it will be ok. It cant change on its own.
I would start by removing the carb and having it checked. It might be plugged with dirt or varnish from sitting. If this doesnt solve the problem let me know.
