Car Alarms: 1996 Nissan maxima, nissan maxima, best guess

Question
The security light flashes, and the key will not turn the door locks, and will not turn the ignition over at all.  Key will not even turn at all in door, or ign.  Steering wheel is locked.  Can U help? I don't have the remotes, or original key, but it hasn't done this in the four months I've had it.

No, I can't say I have ever heard of this.
The key is not coded, so it sounds like a mechanical
issue. The only way to disarm the factory
system is either the ignition key, or using
a keyless entry to lock/unlock-arm/disarm it
remotely. Since that is not an option for you currently,
My best guess is to contact a Nissan near you
for advice as to how to best procede.

This sounds again, like a fix only
they're diagnostic can handle.
