Volvo Repair: Replacing brake rotor, volvo 240 wagon, brake rotor

Question
Hello,
Can you tell me the steps to replacing my front brake rotors. I just bought a 1987 Volvo 240 wagon and the left front brake rotor is warped. The person I bought it from gave me a brand new pair of Zimmerman vented front rotors. I went to several shops locally and they will not install parts they don't supply,
I am fairly mechanically inclined and have a very good tool selection.

Thanks for the help,
Lewis

Answer
best would be to purchase a repair manul from a locla parts store.a haynes or chilton manul should show this process and may have pictures which would aid in the process.

they are actually easy remove wheels.remove clips on brake pad guide pins, then remove the pins being careful not to let the springs fly out.when the pins are being pushed out the spring clips will shoot out if you do not hold them and let them out gently and it hurts bad especially when it hits you in the eye.the remove the 2 17 mm bolts holding the caliper on then remove the rotor by removing the either 10mm bolt or 10mm wheel gude pin.then hit the rotor with a hammer to loosen it.reinstall in reverse order.
