Car Alarms: Viper 600HF Code Plus TM, diesel pickup, mechanical knowledge

We have this installed on our 93 Chevy 1 ton Diesel pickup and would like to uninstall it, it seems to be inconsistent with starting.  Please help...my husband has mechanical knowledge which helps... this pickup was bought with this installed

If you post your email address I will send a copy of the installation manual along.  This will identify the function of each wire.

If you pull the dash panel down under the steering column and follow back the harness that was tapped in you will find a couple fuses that supply the brain of the system.  Removing these fuses should disable the security system.
