Car Alarms: 1997 Toyota 4Runner Disabling keyless entry, toyota 4runner, brain box

Question
I locked my car and ten minutes later when I came back, the keyless entry wouldn't work.  We replaced the battery on the key but it was not a battery problem.  We can't get into the car without the alarm going off, and the car won't start.  The alarm is factory installed so there is no "override" under the dashboard.  How can we disable the alarm so that we can get the car started.

Repair Starter
Then if no control is possible, locate
the starter kill relay installed on
the starter wire and remove and repair it.
See attached file. The you can unplug the
brain box and do without the keyless entry until
you can replace it with another after market system.

Good luck.
