Car Alarms: Keyless entry device, toyota 4runner, car jackings

Question
Well I only wanted a replacement for the current one but if you have a better (more long range one) then great.  Also I am being assigned to Venezuela for a few years and just purchased a 2001 Toyota 4Runner.  There is a crime problem there with car jackings, stolen vehicles, etc.  Is there any recommended devices that you suggest I purchase before I depart?  I heard of a remote control kill switch (for possible car jacking) but I only saw kill switches in general.  Thanks for your input.

I am in need of a keyless entry device for a cheaper price then what the dealer is asking.  Are those for sale anywhere and are they easy to program?  Thank you.

Or did you want to replace it, have 2 long range remotes and a
better keyless system for less the 50. bucks?

Tell you what. I can do both a great keyless entry unit, and a great car alarm with built in starter kill for 100.00 for both, Plus s&h.

I will also help you wire both and give you the notes for each vehicle before you go so it's done.
