Car Alarms: programming python 1000 esp car alarm, programming python, programming mode

Question
How do i program the python 1000 esp car alarm to passive arming? i have no clue how to program alarms so i dont know if i have to use a specific computer program or a special device or any other ways to progarm an alarm. it would be great if you could explain to me how to do this or maybe show me a link where i could find this information out. thank you

Turn your ignition on then off

Press and hold the valet button till the siren chirps once.
Press once,  release, press and hold the valet button.  The LED will flash once.
Press button two (unlock) on your transmitter.
Cycle the ignition on/off to ensure you are out of programming mode.

I just checked the owner's manual and was surprised to see that no programming options are listed in the owner's manual.  You can get a copy of the installation manual, which explains in better detail what I listed.  Just go to the12volt.com and sign up, once you have this link should work:
