Car Alarms: Prestige Car Alarm, prestige car, contoller

Hey, just this summer I recently bought a Prestige car alarm and had it installed professionally. Its a  5BCR05 model with the automatic starter and unlock/lock feature.  Anyway everything works starter unlock and even the little light on the moduel.  But recently I cannot get it to lock the doors after it opens them.  Oddly enough I can get the stock remote to do this.  Also it came with a second contoller which has the same problem it starts it and unlocks, but it wont lock.  So I am 100% sure it is not the module.  Are you familiar with this model? Have any things I can try before attempting to take it back to the place where I bought it?  Thanks much appreciated, Tom

I would strongly recommend taking it back to where it was installed.  All of the install shops around me warranty the installation for life, so there should be no charge.  It sounds to me as if you have a bad connection, or it may be something as simple as resetting the brain, but again since there should be no fee for looking at the vehicle I would take it back.
