Car Alarms: Disable excalibur car alarm, excalibur car, alarmtek

I own a previously owned 1998-99 toyota camry.  The alarm system seems to not be working, at least the keyless entry and then the alarm goes off and we cannot start the car.  I believe the keyless entry is fine because it blinks when you push the button.  I've read you directions from a previous post but feel that maybe I am pushing the wrong button or valet button. The system is excalibur gold. The button I was pushing was a very small white button(about the size of a pin head) on a small black box(about 1"*1".  Thank you for any help

I beleive the button is also the
LED (blinking light).

Try doing the process of valet overide, using
the red light, (key in and on to just
before cranking, the pressing it in for
up to 7 seconds. If you get a reaction light
a chirp, or lights flash, or both,
then try to start it again.

If not, I suggest looking arond under the dash area
some more, or have the system removed.

But it seams you might have just not found
the correct button.
