I RECENTLY PURCHASED A USED 1992 TOYOTA CELICA GT AND I CANT SEEM TO ARM THE KEYLESS SECURITY REMOTE. THE FCC ID IS- ELVAT6B. I NEED HELP!

Do the door locks operate when you press lock, and unlock?

Doing a web search on the FCC ID it seems as if this keyfob is a Toyota remote.  So the owner's manual for the vehicle may shed some light on this as well, check it to see if there is any type of valet mode associated with the system.

This may seem like a silly question, but have you tried to replace the battery in the remote?
