Car Alarms: kill switch, toyota camry, starter battery

Question
I bought a 97 toyota camry from a used dealership. I was driving my car, shut if off to go into a store and when I came back and try to turn it on it didn't work. I've checked the alternator, starter, battery and fuses and everything is working good. The car had an old alarm system that i don't have a key pad for, and neither does the dealer i bought it from. I've tried looking for the kill switch, but haven't been able to find it. Do you have any where it could be. The car is a 97 toyota camry LE 4cyl. Any help would be great. Thanks!

Answer
It's the old alarm. You need to pull it.
There is a starter kill relay inline,
and it seems to be engaged as well.

If you have a valet/overide switch,
see last few posts on how to get it done,
but I would then remove it, or there's a
solid chance it will happen again.

If you don't have it, removal is
strongly suggested either way.

To get the wiring chart to reverse engineer this
and extract the alarm completely, go to

Good luck with it.
