Car Alarms: 1993 jeep grand cherokee, jeep grand cherokee, wire splice

How do I disable the factory alarm on a 1993 jeep grand cherokee? Where is the driver kick pannel if that is where i go to do it? Black plug? I cant go to work until i get this fixed.. thanks lenny i really appreciate it...

Answer
You would remove the plastic baffle panel
between the left leg area and the chassis wall
to locate the wire packs. It on of them, you
will find the purple/yellow wire, splice into
it, then go to ground.

That takes it out permanantly.
