I want to disconnect the factory alarm on my 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee as it always goes off by itself.

Unfortunately, this year Grand Cherokee has a different
set up then from years gone by. It needs to be done through
a pre made bypass module made at DEI. If it was a few years earlier, then yes you could do it, but my advice is to take it to Jeep, and ask them to disable it.

If not, please take it to the local security & stereo shop and have them bypass it.
