Car Alarms: remote replacment, fcc id number, fcc number

Question
the owners guide to my aftermarket auto alarm system, does not list a name for the system I have.  The only ident is the FCC number on the two button clicker.  If the battery on the car dies, the system reverts to auto arm mode.  Fortunatly I still have one remote that works, but my wife needs one for her key chain.  How can I find out what kind of remote I need.  The booklet says the system will "learn" a new code, does this mean it will accept anything?  I doubt it.

Answer
Your will need to get another remote here Mike.
Try www.keylessride.com  or www.remotesunlimited.com
and use the FCC ID number to aquire a matching
one for your system.

The "learning" code system statement means
it will learn one of it's own. They have to
be the same type and meghz frequency to apply.

Good hunting.
