Car Alarms: Commando EZ 2600 Remote Start, alarmtek, 1999 mercury tracer

Question
Just installed the 2600 on my 1999 Mercury Tracer. All functions of the remote work except start. The headlights flash but no crank.

The following wires I did not hook up from the 16 pin connector on the 2600:

Pin 3 Hood input
Pin 4 One pulse start
Pin 5 three pulse start
Pin 6 hand brake
pin 12 horn
Pin 13 Ground output when running
Pin 14 Dome light
Pin 15 Passenger unlock

I did not know where to connect Pin 3 and 4. Do I need any of these wires connected for the start to function?

Also, regarding the smaller 6 pin connector Does the yellow ignition wire need to be hooked to both of my ignition wires on the car?

Thank you very much for your time, Ron

Answer
I suggest contact Commando for this info. I don't sell this particular unit anylonger, but yes you will need the yellow wire I believe, I also suggest you complete the project,
Doing this half way, will yield the same results.

Contact Commando for support on they're product
Monday morning. They will be happy to assist a
paying customer of they'res.
