Car Alarms: auto alarm, dodge viper rt 10, viper rt 10

Question
Before I take a 2000 Dodge Viper RT/10  to the dealer I'm hoping you can answer a question.  This car will inexplicably turn off on me when driving then won't start as if the alarm alarmed itself. The starter does turn over but the vehicle won't start.  The only way to start the car is by pressing the unlock feature of the remote then the car starts right up.  I've taken the car to the dealer over this same issue and they replaced the remote for me but it hasn't solved the problem which is why I think it may be an alarm problem.  Is it? Thanks, Al

Answer
I need more imput.
Who is the maker of your alarm?
if it's an aftermarket system,
It may be an anti-hijack issue.

If it's Dodge's system, then
I am not the man you need to see about this,
Dodge needs to evaluate / repair it.

Let me know
