QuestionI am in the Charlotte ,NC area and would appreciate any information on expert car alarm installers for my 1990 Honda Accord.
Rather than an alarm that makes a lot of noise for people to ignore,Can U give me some ideas re what should be installed that is a real deterrent to car thieves?

AnswerWell, I would shop for an alarm that 1. has a starter
disable relay in it. That would keep the thief
from taking the car. #2 is a paging remote that
notifies you instantly when the car is disturbed.
It is specific to YOUR car, so it's alot better
then an arbitrary alarm siren, which comes with
the system as well as a noice generator/deterent.
Lastly, get an interior motion detector if prone
to leaving the windows down. This would trigger the
pager immediatel upoon detection of ANY movement
inside the car. Nice touch.

for best overall protection and deterent set up
