Car Alarms: Question - 94 jeep factory alarm, jeep grand cherokee, grand cherokee

Question
I have a
1994
Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited
6 cylinder
automatic transmission
Fuel Injection
ABS brakes
P/S - A/C - Cruise control
167,893 miles
Here is my question/problem:
i drove the vehicle a couple times then the serpentine blet snapped and the securtity light started flashing so I let it sit about 2 weeks before replacing the belt.  After the belt replacement I had to recharge the battery and when I did and put it back in the security light on the dash panel started blinking, along with the the vehicles lights.  I use to go to the passenger door and turn the key to disarm the alarm but now that will not work and I can't turn off the alarm so the car won't start.  Can you please give some advice on getting my jeep to work again.

Answer
Well at this point if we are talking about
the factory systems, and it's flashing the headlights
and honking the horn as well, the remove the
drivers side plastic panel and locate the
Factory Disarm Wire VIOLET/YELLOW (-) in a BLACK PLUG
splice into it with the same guage wires, and
then put it to the chasis, making a solid ground.
That then permanatly disables the alarm.

Let me know if this solves your problem.

Good luck.
