Car Alarms: alarm remote problem, chevy camaro, camaro

I have a 95 chevy camaro z28,dont know what kind of alarm, but when I hit the unlock button the alarm goes off. This happens often but not every time. Do you think it might be the connections or the remote.

  Can you describe what is actually going "off"?
The trouble is that you might be dealing
with 2 seperate alarms. One aftermarket,
one OEM Factory. The conflict sounds like it
is the factory alarm is triggered, when
you go to remotely unlock the doors using
the aftermarket system. This happens.
There is a way to fix it, but requires
an alarm technician and a relay to do it.

Let me know if I am correct, and I will
try to explain the fix.
