I have no remote..the key in the igniton does not turn it off, and I cant find a valet switch any where... I want to remove the alarm, but dont have the money now. have it removed.. any help i would appreciate. Joe

Answer
Ok, to remove it, go up under the dash,
locate the brain box and un plug it.
Then look in the ignition could for the
starter wire (yellow), cut out the relay
inline, the re attatch the 2 ends.

That takes care of the alarm and of
course the protection your car now enjoys.

I would look around for that valet overide
switch again under the dash, or in the fuse
box area. If you locate it, try this procedure...

Put the key in the ignition, and turn forward
all the way just before cranking. Then within
5 seconds, locate, press and hold in the
valet/overide button, found under the
dash area, (push button, spring loaded)
until the installed LED (the blinking light)
in your dash area goes on solid,
and the siren chirps once.

(Your valet switch might be the toggle
(on/off) type. in this case, key on,
flip switch in opposite direction,
then turn the key off.)

This should reset the alarm, and reset
the grounded relay on the starter wire,
allowing you to start the engine.

Good luck with it.
Oh, by the way, without an alarm,
this car would take a thief less then
2 minutes to make it disapear.

Have a good one.
