Car Alarms: lcd remote

my lcd remote does not show me when i arm or disarm the system but it does arm and disarm the alarm it was working fine at first but then it just stop working would you know why this happened and how can i fix the problem

Kind of vague question really, could be anything.
The first thing that comes to mind though is that you
need to replace the battery more often.

But if you dropped it etc... could
just mean it's going bad.

Change the battery and see if you
get those responses back.
