Car Alarms: product Astra 7T7, system choice, remote start

Question
Is the product Scytek's Astra 7t7 good? i have a 98 ford explorer that had an existing "fake" scytek alarm. it doesnt work so im sending it back and looking on your site. is the 7T7, remote start, door lock/unlock, and alarm? and easy to program?! It says it comes with the true color remote for 149. Sounds like a great deal.If it doesnt have all of the 3 above, what do you have that is around 150, and 2 way? and are Galaxy's better thn the Astra's? I know the galaxy has the Scynet port for easy programming which i might get if you have a galaxy around 150. thank you

Answer
Sorry, when you tried me in the chat room on my site,
I was running an errand for my better half.

No the Scynet is good if changing the
settings all the time, or
if you are doing fleet installation of have
a business that installs on a regular basis.
For the individual unit, I think you can pass on it.

You will use it once or twice,
then it will collect dust.
I say, save the 30.00 and put into a sensor or
another step up in system choice. The manual
step through with the valet button does the
job just fine.

I am back on the desk now if you
want to try the chat room again.
