Car Alarms: Lights are not flashing with car alarm set, designtech, kidwell

Question
I had a Python alarm installed on my car last Oct. by Circuit City. They're out of business now and I don't know where to turn. My alarm was operating normally until last week. Suddenly, it stopped flashing lights and beeping the horn once or twice to indicate the alarm is turned on or off. The red light that used to flash on the dash when the alarm was activated now stays on steady all the time. Can you tell me what to do to restore my alarm system to normal operation?
