On a 1996 gmc pickup diesiel can you tell me the tach wire color and where to look for it to use for the remote start? Thanks

TACHOMETER|white |-|AT THE ECM
The ECM on the 4.3 litre motor is located on the drivers
side inner fender.  The ECM on the 2.2 litre motor is located on the passengers side inner fender.
