Car Alarms: turbo timer and aftermarket alarm, turbo timer, shock sensor

Question
i would like to know how i can use my aftermarket alarm with my turbo timer, because the timer keeps the car running for a short period of time after you remove the key, i dont want to wait till the car turns off and then arm it. but i would like to be able to arm it when the turbo timer is in use how would i do that?

Answer
Sorry but unless it's a remote starter, and has
a turbo timer bypass circuit in it, you can not
do it effectively. If the alarm has a 1 minute 12volt
sensing delay before arming setting,
(see this in the feature settings under door/dome
light trigger delay.) it may work,
but doubtful that would turn off the shock sensor
the alarm has. If the turbo timer makes
enough vibration, It would still go off.
Back to square 1.

No as I said, this can not be done unless the
circuitry already exsists in your system.
Best suggestion is to get a system that
has this built in.

Sorry for the bad news.

Good luck with it.
