Car Alarms: UNGO alarm removed, no start!, electronic componants, brain box

Question
My wife's friend no longer drives, so she gave us her 1990 chevy s-10 blazer with the v-6. It has not been driven in two years. Battery dead, I proceeded to jump start it. It started the alarm went off. Of course there is no remote, so I clipped the horn wires. After doing so, I attempted to start it, no luck, it would not start. the alarm was a simple set up, only about 6 wires, so I removed it. A UNG0 model 6200  sn 008777. I disconnected the battery for 20 minutes, reconnected it and tried to start it again, still no luck. The ECM is supplying power to the fuel system, all other electronic componants and the motor is turning over, but there is no ground to the fuel injectors, just the power to the positive side only as verified with a test light. If I run a ground wire from the chassis to the injector, fuel comes out and it will attempt to start. Using starting fluid, it will start for a few seconds, showing only the fuel side is effected. Since I removed the alarm brain box, what would be remaining from the system to prevent it from starting? Any help is greatly apreciated. Local alarm shops are unfamiliar with this older system. Answer
Hi Matt.
It sounds as if you might have missed the starter disable relay inline. Go back in,
locate the starter (YELLOW in ignition) wire,
cut out the relay that was
installed inline, and re attatch the yellow wire back
to pre install condition.

That should now allow you to get it started.

Let me know how it goes.
