Towing Issues: 2001 ford sport trak, suspension geometry, tow hitch

We have pulled our ford with an A frame tow hitch, but when we drive it again the steering feels funny. It gets over it but I want to know if it is hurting it.we do disconnect the drive line. I thank you for any input, please.

I have heard that these vehicles can develop vibration from flat towing due to the suspension geometry.  I have not witnessed it myself but I would suspect that this kind of vibration would be wearing on the suspension at an accelerated rate.
