Question -
i was wondering if the viper 600 hf can do a remote start and if so how i can do it? or am i going to have to add somthing to the unit?
i would like to use the same 4 button remote to start the vehicle as i do the arm and unarm it
thank you travis white this is a 94 chevy 1/2 ton pickup auto trans
Answer -
Sorry Travis but I don't do DEI equipment so I
can't say if the 600HF has that capapbility.
If it turns out to be just a car alarm/keyless entry,
#1 you would need 2 relays for the door locks, and #2,
you will need to add a remote start slave unit (59.00)
to the 600HF to use the remotes you have currently
to remote start the truck. Let me know if you already
have that unit, and if you read the booklet
on it to determine if it remote starts too.

If not, I have a better system in mind with all
of it built in.

The easiest option if the 600hf does not have remote start,
would be adding the Micro slave start. Simply put,
the (-) aux output on the 600 would control the add
on remote start module (slave)

The Ultrastart 2250tl is my choice for this one though.
It's an all in one unit, not and "add on" to an older system. It would give you 1000 ft as opposed to the 500
for the Micro slave, and is 89.95 currently.
Best option really since you plan on doing the whole
package in the next vehicle, and newer in this case
is better. After 10 years, I don't know that I would trust
the 600hf at this point. But it's not my call.

Let me know if any of this interests you and we'll
narrow down to the best choices for your vehicle.

Travis,
I am about to raise the prices for the winter months
on ALL remote starters I sell. If you are interested
in the Ultrastart 2250 tl for your installation,
today would be the last day at 89.95 and a free
starter kill relay and socket.

copy cut n paste the following link
to get it now:

https://www.paypal.com/xclick/business=installsupport%40aol.com&item_name=1+ULTRASTART+2250tl+1-starterkill+relay&item_number=1+ULTRASTART+2250tl+1-starterkill+relay&amount=89.95&no_note=1¤cy_code=USD

Tomarrow, the price is going up to 99.95 and no
freebies.  I wanted to give you a chance at this price
as discussed, but only for today. If not, good
luck with you project, and I hope you can get
some install support from Viper on your installation.

Yours.
