Car Alarms: Keyless Entry, side kick panel, kia soranto

Question
I just switch my SUV for a 2004 KIA Soranto LX, this vehicle is not listed on your wiring chart list. Could you look it up and see if there is a wiring chart available for me to purchase.
Another question that I have is,
The SUV comes equipped with Keyless Entry that locks the door automatically after one minute, flashes parking lights and controls the dome light. I assume that I have to disconnect the system before installing my alarm/auto start/keyless entry so it does not interfere with the new system operation. Will removing the fuse take care of it or do I have to disconnect all individual wires? Do you know where the OEM Keyless Entry is located in the vehicle before I rip it a part trying to find it.

Answer
Well, it appears that they already installed an aftermarket alarm system. If it locks and arms after 30 seconds, then it is aftermarket. This one did not have a factory alarm anyway. And if it did, it would not have any "automatic"
functions at all.

This is a good thing. Find this brain box up under the dash,
probably to the left of the steering column, and unplug it
from the harnesses going to it, but DO NOT remove
any of the wiring. You can use them for the next system.

Yes the Sorento is onfile at the WIREWERX.

I just have not updated that form.
Won't do that until January, 05.

Do not concern yourself at this point with where the
OEM keyless mod is in the truck. It won't be addressed
for the next install. You are looking for the
lock and unlock wires in the drivers side kick panel
for our needs here. They are negatives, and have already
been tapped and are ready to swap over to the new
control unit you plan to install.

Should be a relatively easy install for you, since it was
already done once. Just a few more wires for the remote start.

Good luck and I will watch for the
payment at the wirewerx.

Best regards.
