i have just bought a 97 toyota rav4, i would like to istall a security system with keyless entry and start. is there any make that you recommend with a reasonable price, and can i install it my self? does the manufaturer supply a video of installation? thanks

No video that I know of, but this truck is an easy to protect vehicle and I can help you get through the install with the notes on the wire colors location and polarities in the 97 Rav to do it yourself in about 3 hours.

I have several systems that will work well here.
Specifically for Toyotas, the Ultrastart 2250tl is
a solid choice. Nice range (1000 feet)
and easy modular installation.

The antenna-valet & LED are in
the antenna so there are less holes to drill and
makes for a nice clean installation. This comes with
a 6 tone siren, built in 2 stage impact sensor, and
clear installation manual. Can't lose.

This Sunday. Then going up to 99.99 for the
Fall/Winter months. (very popular)

If you wanted paging added to the mix, this would
