Car Alarms: Factory Disable, side kick panel, negative pulse

I own a 2001 Tahoe, how do I disable the factory alarm? I am installing a aftermarket alarm and I  want to disable the factory unit.

Ok, locate the lt.green |-| wire
located in the drivers side kick panel
and ground it out to the chassis of
the vehicle.

This will permanatly disable it.

To disram it at the same time as the
aftermarket system, see disrming
factory alarms at www.relayhelp.com .

Basically using a relay, you will send
a negative pulse to the OEM system wire,
at the same time you go to unlock the
doors remotely.
