Car Alarms: installation, keyless entry system, ford ranger

Question
I previously ordered a keyless entry and actuator system for my two door ford ranger.  I am really inexperienced (actually have no experience) in intalling these types of systems.  Where do i start?  and where should i go from there?  Is there any easy way to do this and is it possible for my to do this without a professional?  When i looked in the box and saw all the wiring it seemed quite intimidating, so any help would be much appreciated.  Thank you and God bless
Jake

Answer
This job is not the easiest to do, but start off by
installing the door locks. The drivers side first.
See "door lock actuators" at relayhelp.com . It is th
hardest part of the job in my opinion.
Then once you have the actuator mounted, and the
wires are run through the door grommet, then
move on to the passenger door.
Finally the keyless entry system (easiest part)
should be wired according to the instructions.
Once all this is done, it's a matter of connections,
and testing. It's hard to decribe this job since
all cars are different, but take some time to
understand the way it works, then apply it
to this project.

If you feel it's beyond your ability, I would call
in a pro to complete it, but give it a try anyway.
You might surprise yourself.

1 thing though, deffinately get the wiring chart
for the Ranger. It will help alot if you knew
which wire was which under the dash.

Good luck with it.
