Car Alarms: Code Alarm, code alarm, remote starter

I Bought a Code-Alarm CA-640 From Work For $149.00 Is it A Good Alarm For the Price? They told Me it Was Hard to Install, I Ordered your Wiring Data Am I In for a suprise?

For a novice, it's gonna be a long
day with this system and the Montana.

You have a lot of issues on this vehicle
that MUST be address to make an aftermarket
alarm/keyless entry/remote starter work.

Not a fan of you choice of alarms either
because there is virtually NO aftersale
support for it.
Code alarm was sold last year to DEI (VIPER)
and they do not supply aftersale installation
support to "end users" so you are basically
on your own here. And "they" were correct,
It is a bitch to install, even for a pro.

I know you probably did not want to here
all of this, but it's truth you came here for
not salesman fluff. (right?)

I don't know if you have the option to
send it back, but I would give it some
thought.

Good luck with it. I don't supply the
level of installation help you would
need here to non equipment buying customers,
so I won't be of much support help with this
product. Sorry.
