Car Alarms: Car alarms, dodge neon, dash area

HELP!!! I just bought a 1995 Dodge Neon to find out it has 2 alarms. 1 is the ATS and the second is a chapman. Its left me UNABLE to drive this car because of the saftey issue it's brought up. I know NOTHING about car alarms, I dont know which alarm is continously going off. It disables the car while its running. all the gauges go dead and the fuel supply stops. HELP I dont need the alarms. I would love to just know how to Disconnect it permenatley!

Ok, try this.
   Put the key in the ignition, and turn forward
all the way just before cranking. Then within
5 seconds, press and hold in the button until
the installed LED (the blinking light)
in your dash area comes on solid.

This should be valet. This overides
the starter kill relay in the alarm harness,
and returns the car back to disarmed mode.

The only thing that will work now on your system,
is the keyless entry if installed.

Just Repeat these steps to rearm your system.

That should do it, then go up under the dash
and remove both systems and replace with one
you know. That makes for a safer experience.
