Car Alarms: programming remote start for car, car alarm installation, alarmtek

Hi-my remote starter on my car quit working. I believe it is an Ultra brand and is about 5 yrs old. It used to blink the headlights once and honk once, then start. Now, it just flashes the headlights 3 times and does not start. Any thoughts on why it quit working? Thanks!
