Car Alarms: maxiguard keyless entry, replacement transmitters, keyless entry system

Hi, i have a question about a maxiguard keyless entry system. I bought a car with this system and the guy that i bought it from is unavalible and I dont know the code. is there any way you can tell me what the code is or how i can change it.here is the fcc id hy5mxi

No sorry. I don't have the "code" for this
system either. Maxiguard is now gone from
the market and would be exceedingly difficult
to get any info on it, including where
to get new transmitters to replace old ones.

It would be much less money to replace
with a new keyless system, then to try to
shore up the one you have. Forinstance,
I sell full keyless systems for only 39.95.
To get replacement transmitters for what
you have currently would be 50.+

Good luck with it. I know you'd like
to save on this one, but in this case
since the manufacturer for your system is
now out of business, it's not advised that
you attempt to make it function normally.
There won't be anyone behind the unit,
supporting it, if you have troubles down
the road.
