Car Alarms: mitsubishi keyless entry alarm/ETACS question, mitsubishi 3000gt, mitsubishi diamante

Question
Hi,

I have a 1995 Mitsubishi KS Verada V6XI with the factory keyless entry alarm/immobiliser (ETACS).
The keyless entry system is the factory OMRON unit
and the remote has the following FCC ID: E4EG8DA
and an OMRON ID: G8D-282M-A. This unit is also
similar to the ones on the Mitsubishi 3000GT.
This car is basically the same as a 95 Mitsubishi
Diamante LS in the US. What I want to do is to
install a chirpper so that it chirps twice when
arming and once when disarming (currently only
the interrior lights flash twice when arming and
once when disarming. Is there somewhere where I
can install the chirpper to be able to do this.

Thanks in advance.

Vladimir

Answer
Yes, add an aftermarket simple alarm system, instead
of trying to make the OMRON do what is is NOT designed to do. By adding a simple alarm with a siren, or a horn honk output, you can go around the factory system and get the functionality of the chirps, and shock sensor, etc...

Good luck on this.

By the way, the chirps would be
1 when arming, 2 when disarming.
