Question -
I have a 2000 Hyundai Elantra with a factory installed alarm system.  I have recently replaced the battery and the alarm has been disabled. I found the reset switch for the alarm and am able to get it to arm, but I cannot get it to work with the remote. Is there a specific process that must be followed in order to correctly reset the alarm-key on, turn off for 30 seconds the turn on, etc. - something like that?  I appreciate any help you can give me.  Thanks.
Answer -
The trouble Darnell, is this does NOT have a factory alarm.
It has and aftermarket system installed at the dealership
probably, and sold to you as and "alarm".
That being said, there are hundreds of different remotes and alarms out there. You would need to ID the system,
and then I may be able to help.

Start of by going to www.remotesunlimited.com
to see if yours can be identified there.

Good hunting.

Answer -
No that is what they need. once you get to the picture of the remote, it should tell you the brand name. that's what I need mostly.

Answer
Try this.
Key on, press the valet/programing button
5 times. When(if) the alarm siren sounds,
press the lock button on the remote.
then turn off the key.

If you find this did not work, then I suggest
either contacting remotes unlimited to see if
they can supply the programming procedure,
or, try www.directed.com which now
owns Clifford.

Good luck with it.
