Car Alarms: Not Using Remote start/Relay Switch, relay switch, remote start

Question
I Have A 2000 honda civic with a manual transmision. I Had bought an Camando fm-870 alarm with Remote start Keyless entry and Paging.

I was wondering if i Installed an alarm with remote start, and didn't hook up the wires for the remote start, would the alarm unit still work?

I also have a relay switch (the numbers on top of the relay switch are HG4255 and 021-1Z9(M)) it is a 12v 30/40A with 4 wires a red, white, yellow, and orange. My installation manual dosent say where it goes. So What do i do with it?

Answer
No this system is designed to install into a automatic transmission only.  I can no and will not say it is safe to put this system into your car.

The relay you have is a prewired starter kill relay and socket. See the diagram at www.relayhelp.com for that, but again. The 870s is not designed to operate without all the proper wiring. It will malfunction and can be dangerous to your vehicle if "half installed".
