Car Alarms: Lost car remote., valet mode, dash area

Question
I have lost my keyless entry remote for my 97 honda accord. I want to open it using my key but afraid that alarm is going to sound and i wont be able to stop it. Is there a way to disable the alarm horn , if yes, can you please let me know what should i do?

Answer
Ok, don't panic. Try this. Open the door with the
key and it will set the alarm off.

Look under the dash area, maybe to the left
foot area in the plastic, for a button/switch
that does not look like the OEM factory equipment.

Now put the key in the ignition, and turn forward
all the way just before cranking. Then within
5 seconds, press and hold in the button until
the installed LED (the blinking light)
in your dash area comes on solid.

This should be valet. This overides
the starter kill relay in the alarm harness,
and returns the car back to disarmed mode.

The only thing that will work now on your system,
is the keyless entry if installed.

Just Repeat these steps to rearm your system.

That should do it.

Then go to www.remotesunlimited.com to see
if the remote can be replaced. If not, then
you will either leave it in Valet mode or,
now replace it with something new and has
2 new remotes.

Let me know what happens.
