Car Alarms: i need to remove my alarm system, giving me a hard time, toyota camry

Question
I have a 1992 Toyota Camry which has an alarm that I have never used. Recently with cold weather it seems to have activated it, and has been giving me a hard time when turning on the car, the car does have a switch underneath the dash, but it did not help and the alarm continued to sound so I cut the wire that was connected to the switch and know my car will not turn on. I need some serious help?

Answer
Without the underdash switch, you will now have to remove the alarm. Or at leaset the starter kill relay installed
will need to be removed, or you are SOL.
If the switch was still in place, you could put it into VALET overide mode,
but not without it.

Undo the underpanel (steering column) and find
the alarm. Then unplug it.

That should let you start the car, then replace it.

Good luck.
