Car Stereos: install of aftermarket stereo with factory amp, 1999 chrysler concorde, chrysler concorde

I'm installing a Kenwood deck inside of a 1999 Chrysler Concorde LX I and when I install it and I play all I get is my subwoofers. I'm not getting any sound on my mids or highs when I play the cd. When I play the radio I get everything playing.

Hi,

I'd suggest what's happened is that you've connected the power antenna wire to the amplifier turn on (remote) wire.  They're probably both blue.

This means that your factory amplifier is only being turned on by tuner mode, but not any other mode.

Pull out the wire harness and make sure the remote wire is going to the remote on both the factory and aftermarket amp running the subs.
