Car Stereos: Chevy Tahoe Battery keeps dying, chevy tahoe, 2003 chevy tahoe

Hey i have a 2003 chevy tahoe and i put in a 1000 watt amp with 10in speaker box .... amp its plugged striaght to my battery... first the alternator blow i got another one the truck ran fine.. but know i let the truck sit over night and it keeps dying what can i do to stop this..?

Hi Khaim,

It sounds to me like you have the remote wire to the amplifier hooked up incorrectly, leaving the amplifier on even when the car is off.  You'll need to hook that up to a wire that only has power when the car is on, or it will keep draining your battery.
