Car Stereos: 2008 corolla radio installation, car mp3 player, power antenna

Hi,
 I bought a car mp3 player with SD-USB slot(model HT-892) with the wiring harness. Every time I turn the car on the FM radio doesn t make any sound and the time and date are back to zero.  When I unplug the fuse on the yellow wire and replug it every is fine.  How do I do to keep it working fine.

Hi Sam,

You've confused your wires.  It sounds like your red (switched) and yellow (constant) are switched.

Also, I can't be sure without knowing what kind of car you have, but you're probably missing the power antenna wire, which your car may require to amplify the FM/AM sound which is why there is no sound.
