Car Stereos: car radio, chevy tahoe, power antenna

I have a 2002 Chevy tahoe,with both radios that i hooked up,i could only get sound from the am/fm radio,no sound from the cd player,ipod hook up,or aux,output ,Whats going on???

Hi Dameon,

If you've installed an aftermarket deck, it sounds like your car has an aftermarket amplifier in it, and a wire is crossed.  Possibly the power antenna wire is hooked up to the power out for the amplifier, so it's only turning the amp on when you're in am/fm.

Make sure you've installed the gm specific harness adapter and wired everything up correctly.  (Specifically check the blue remote wire coming out of the deck and make sure it's going to the remote wire on the harness.)
