Car Stereos: more info, nav system, radio stations

original question: " have a 2009 maxima with the nav system. every time i turn on the car, the audio is off. no matter if i had it on prior to shutting the car off. is there a way to fix this? everything works fine, its just annoying having to scroll thru the music constantly"

more info: "most of the time i am listening to a cd or the aux cables when i shut off the car. i have even tried leaving the radio on before shutting off the car. still no luck. The time on the system is fine. and it remembers my radio stations that i have saved. i just have to manually start the stereo each time.

Hi Eddie,

If the deck always did this, you may be dealing with a deck that just does that, or a setting in a menu somewhere.

If it just started doing it, but the time is being kept, you may have a dying deck and will just have to deal with it.
