I'm planning on selling my wife's 2002 Jeep Liberty, and I *may* have blown the front 2 speakers.  Is there a fairly easy way to replace these with something aftermarket without replacing the head unit?

Hi Mike,

If you have the higher end system with the built in amplifiers on the speakers, you'll have to remove them and attach them to the speakers.  It's not a simple job, but it can be done.  Solder new wires from the amplifier to the leads on replacement aftermarket speakers, and then attach the amp to the inside of the door somewhere that won't interfere with the window rolling up and down, and you're good to go.
